It is our pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Embassy of Ghana to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the Africa Union and the Economic Commission. This website aims to provide general information on Ghana and the Mission’s activities in Ethiopia. This includes the promotion of trade/investment opportunities in Ghana, as well as the issuance of visas and the provision of other consular services. Ghana’s natural resources, democratic political system and dynamic economy make it one of Africa’s best countries for business. The country’s peaceful political transition since 1992 has gained the world’s confidence, making Ghana attractive to investors and a preferred destination for tourists. Cordial relations enjoyed between Ghana and Ethiopia have existed since the time of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Emperor Haile Selassie. There is a lot of potential for the two countries to expand cooperation. The Addis Ababa Team, led by H.E. Amma A. Twum-Amoah, is committed to working assiduously towards this vision. It is our expectation that we will witness the deepening of Ghana-Ethiopia relations in the coming years.
